Sue Hutchings has studied art for over ten years and qualified at the Bournemouth and Poole College of Art and Design, in Dorset.

After completing her Higher National Diploma in Natural History Illustration, she went on to specialise in cats and dogs.

Sue started painting for family and friends, and word soon spread of her talent, to the point where she was able to concentrate on her passion full-time.

She mainly paints in detailed watercolour using the finest quality paints, but Sue also enjoys graphite drawing.

Where possible, she works from her own photographs to ensure that her finished work is an accurate likeness to the subject.

Sue has lived in Dorset all her life, and is now settled near Bournemouth with her husband.
